The Weekend Retreat

Empowering your transitions

Friday May 2nd, 5pm until

Sunday May 4th, 1pm, 2025

Soul Wander is delighted to announce:

The Weekend Retreat.

This two-night retreat will be co-facilitated by Tina Bruce and Jane Fenn at the Atlas Retreat property in Shoreham, Victoria on Bunurong Country.

Are you called to a new path in a way you just can’t explain?

Are you excited for a refreshing beginning but unsure how to take the next step?

This weekend is about honouring our transitions.

Transition is the internal process of letting go of the way things used to be. It’s the time it takes to surrender, accept, and close the door on the past so a new door can open.

Whether we’re navigating midlife, moving through a rite of passage, or embarking on a heroine’s journey into the unknown, the death of our identities and old habits confront us all and is an amazing catalyst for spiritual awakening and positive change.

Transition times between seasons have their own energy. This phase can make us feel lightheaded, giddy, vulnerable, and leave us questioning our confidence with unhelpful self-talk - ‘what if I don’t know what to do?’ or ‘I should have a better handle on this’.

How do you move through transition?

By grounding and flowing. We’re asked to slow down, soften and strengthen all at once.

If you know you need this in your heart, read on to see what’s on offer…

“If it doesn’t open,

it’s not your door”

“Perhaps intuition is the easier of the tasks but holding it in consciousness and letting live what can live, and letting die what must die, is by far the more strenuous, yet so satisfying.”

~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes

“Things are always in transition, if we could only realize it. Nothing ever sums itself up in the way that we like to dream about. The off-center, in-between state is an ideal situation, a situation in which we don’t get caught and we can open our hearts and minds beyond limit. It’s a very tender, nonaggressive, open-ended state of affairs. To stay with that shakiness—to stay with a broken heart, with a rumbling stomach, with the feeling of hopelessness and wanting to get revenge—that is the path of true awakening. Sticking with that uncertainty, getting the knack of relaxing in the midst of chaos, learning not to panic —this is the spiritual path.”

~ Pema Chodron

“heart is sea,

language is shore,

whatever sea includes,

will hit the shore.”

~ Rumi

Personally, I know when I’m going through change my whole perspective needs realignment.

I’ve found the last year to be very ‘transitionary.’ Getting sober, the body shock and anxiety of peri-menopause, answering the call to end-of-life work, relationship dynamics and global meltdowns. Initiations of any kind can be isolating especially when your choices are not shared by the dominant culture. It can become a desperate search to be seen, heard and held. In this space you will be and you’ll learn how to offer this acceptance to yourself. Without this community, sisterhood and soul wanderers it all would have been so much harder.

When change arrives on the doorstep, I want a wild space in nature and some uninterrupted time where I can just exhale and find my feet again.

And most of all, I want to reclaim my power.

- M, Japan Retreat 2024

“Our Japan retreat was beyond my wildest dreams and has been life-changing and I loved every minute of the experience and didn't want to come home. I'm looking forward to what the future holds.”

- Alison MacDonald, Japan Retreat 2024

The 2024 Japan retreat was a magical experience, I came in knowing no one and only met Tina at her book launch - I knew it would be the trip of a lifetime when we moved through a brief but impactful spinal energetic session that day. The retreat helped move all the stored up energy and narratives that’s been blocked in my ancestral lines and my own personal guilt owned narratives - it was all able to be moved and I’ve surrendered to the new version of myself. The retreat was a well balance of activities to explore Japan’s incredible hospitality, natural gems and cultural treasures in the Izu Peninsula and the wellbeing practices helped move blocks, free myself and eventually die in order to be reborn again as a new and better version of myself with the added pleasure of daily onsens to soften the body during these big shifts. This was a retreat that got into the soul, pushed me spiritually to share more and offer up myself as a light beacon not a burdened light worker.

I’m forever grateful for the incredible women who were in this group, the space they held in each practice and the journeys they shared and it was all intuitively guided by Tina, what a women who truly trusts in her path and the way she teaches. All of it was miraculously wonderful and I applaud you to do something incredibly impactful for yourself and go on the next Soul Wander’s retreat to find the new version of self.

- Nicole Hindson, Japan Retreat 2024

Larapinta Retreat Guest

This is a retreat that taps into all the senses! It actively supports transition from doing to being, wonderful camaraderie, support and organised enough to flow, but not overly so!! Tina, Hayley and Jungala form an amazing team!! Can highly recommend it!!

Larapinta Retreat

A beautiful experience, left feeling a powerful connection to humanity, my country, my ancestors and myself.

Loved it, Tina’s breathwork is transformative. The Larapinta region is stunning and our two indigenous guides were so informative and had such wonderful energy. This retreat was just what I needed and I’m so glad I came.

What Tina & Hayley have created is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Wonder & awe at the incredible NT sights, powerful self connection & heart connection with the most incredible group of like minded women & now, new friends.

The Red Dirt was calling me, and it didn’t disappoint.

I received the most beautiful connection to land and nature, deepening even further into my Inner Voice. Unexpectedly, I was GIFTED a friendship group, that was formed from a TRUE HEART AND SOUL Connection. I have found a new way of connecting back into myself, hiking! Bring On Nepal Thank YOU TINA () & Hayley!

Tina and Hayley have created an incredibly rich retreat experience to explore the Larapinta trail.

From transformative breath work and soothing yin yoga from Tina, to the ambitious hikes lead by indigenous guides Jordy and Des, this was a truly memorable experience. Many of us tested our physical limits and gained new insights into our lives that will enhance our experiences well beyond the retreat. And the wonderful community of women that emerged from this experience was the best surprise!

What an incredible four days, from which I have returned feeling rested, calm and inspired. Bluegreen was the most idyllic setting for the retreat, from the moment I arrived I felt a sense of tranquility.

Oh and the food, cooked with love by the serene and talented Cade, using fresh local produce - truly was a highlight. From the yin yoga sessions, to the sound healing and the most relaxing acupressure massage given by beautiful Jane, I couldn't have asked for more from my first retreat. Not to mention the superb organisation by Hayley. Tina's sessions were enlightening and powerful, she is an incredible facilitator and all round amazing human!
